2012 Ford Mustang Convertible |
2012 Ford Mustang Convertible V6's frameless door windows come with an auto-indexing feature to help ensure a tight seal. When a door is opened, its window automatically rolls down slightly. As the 2012 Mustang Convertible V6’s door is closed, the resulting gap allows air to escape the cabin without affecting window position against the A-pillar, B-pillar, and roof. Once the door is closed, the window rolls up and seals tightly against the body. |

2012 Ford Mustang Coupe GT |
2012 Ford Mustang Coupe GT pounds the pavement with an advanced take on the 5.0L V8. Mod 5.0 graphics debuted on the hood scoop of a 1978 Mustang II King Cobra. The actual 5.0 badge of honour made its first appearance the following model year, creating a loyal legion of fans in the process. 1995 models – cresting at 300 hp – were last to flaunt the big 5.0. Until now. This baby kicks and screams like the day it was born. You'll get the most out of 2012 Mustang Coupe GT's engines with either the standard six-speed manual gearbox or the available six-speed automatic transmission. Both come with the flexibility and fuel economy benefits of six forward ratios. |

2012 Ford Mustang Convertible GT |
Like the Mustang V6, the 2012 Ford Mustang Convertible GT features a standard limited-slip differential that provides better handling and more surefooted grip in poor weather conditions by directing engine torque to the rear wheel with the most traction. The 2012 Mustang Convertible GT offers a 3.55:1 gear ratio on manual transmission models and a 3.15:1 ratio with automatic transmission. Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS) raises the bar in regards to driving dynamics for Mustang owners. Steering effort at parking lot speeds is reduced, while high-speed and highway feel is improved for more precise steering and handling. |

2012 Ford Mustang Boss |
After a 40-year break, the legendary Ford Mustang Boss 302 is back in action. This intimidator on wheels was literally born on the racetrack, and today proudly returns with some serious performance upgrades. There's no question who's in charge when the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss is on the road. Ford's powertrain team started with GT's 5.0L as a baseline, then injected some major modifications so 2012 Mustang Boss 302 could withstand all-day thrashing up to its 7,500 rpm redline. Improvements abound, including forced-aluminum pistons, upgraded connecting rods, revised oil pan baffling, and a whole lot more. |
